Coaching is a skill that goes beyond the simple connection of a client to a device. It's about your connection to another human being.

This five-week teleconference workshop is designed to help you learn to learn the importance of truly connecting to others, to create a safe environment and build trust...To help people help themselves by providing tools and strategies to help them surpass their limitations and achieve their goals.

Each week students will coach each other using the skills they develop during the workshop. Participants will coach each other in a safe and open workshop format with active interaction by the facilitator.

Workshops are run on the telephone using teleconference room facilities.

The Next Workshop

The next workshop is scheduled to begin September 2nd, 2008 at 8:30 PM - 10:00 PM EST. Registration closes September 1st, 2008 at midnight EST. Candidates will be given their first coaching workshop assignment when their registration is approved.

Fees

The fee for this workshop is $235.00 per person, which covers the cost of all materials and five (5) telephone conference sessions with your group and the group facilitator. Individual sessions may be arranged with a facilitator for an additional fee.

Weekly sessions are one and a half hours in length. All sessions are done over the telephone. Participants will be given the telephone number and code for entering the weekly discussion. Each group of approximately twenty people will be facilitated by one or more instructors. The format for each session is:

This five week workshop is not intended to make you a coach. You will not become a biofeedback coach or a life coach by completing this workshop. What you will do, is learn how to use coaching techniques in your biofeedback or neurofeedback business to better serve your clients. Completing this introduction to coaching workshop does not entitle you to call yourself a biofeedback coach, neurotherapy coach or life coach. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce you to coaching skills you may find helpful in your profession.
